• Copyright: You retain your rights to any images you submit and grant the Organisers a license to use such images in any and all media or distribution methods.

Theme: "Contrast"

Try to look beyond the obvious definition of the term Contrast and interpret the theme creatively. Please add some comments to the image you submit: the equipment and techniques you used, the story you wanted to convey with the photo.

Prizes:

• First Place: US$500
• Second Place: US$300
• Third Place: US$200

Judging criteria:

• technical proficiency,
• artistic merits,
• creativity in the application of the theme,
• the quality and insight of the supporting text.

Post-processing is limited to tone, brightness and contrast and ‘dodge and burn’. Try to capture the best image you can in-camera. You can enter up to 4 entries. Winners will be announced on May 3rd, 2011.
