What a great way to welcome the summer with beautiful photos celebrating life. All users are allowed one entry per round, so do your best to make sure your photo really shows off your creative abilities. Color, composition, focal point, and silhouettes can all be used to make your entry really stand out amongst the other contestants during voting.
- Round 1 Theme: Sunset
Voting will take place August 3rd, 2010 – August 20, 2010. After the voting period has concluded, all but 100 contestants will be eliminated. Finalists that make it into to Round 2 will be required to submit a new photo. - Round 2 Theme: Summer Fun
Voting will take place September 10th, 2010 – September 30th, 2010. After the voting period has concluded, all but 10 contestants will be eliminated. After the voting period has concluded, the winner will be selected.

- One grand prize – $1000
All entries must be photographs, and not a visual/graphic art manipulation. HDR is not allowed. All entries must contain non-generic, descriptive titles and a textual description. Photographs must not contain digitally-added text. Any text found within the photograph must be contained organically within the photographed objects/subjects.
