• Copyright: By uploading, you are allowing BetterPhoto to publish the photo on our Web site. If we ever consider publishing your photo in any print media or on another Web site owned by BetterPhoto, we will contact you first for permission. Copyright of the image remains the property of the photographer. A photo credit with copyright symbol will be provided under your image.
• Entry fee: From $4.95 for one photo to $24.95 for 10 photos
• Entry deadline: 29th February 2008
• Who can enter: Anyone

Anyone can participate. Regardless of whether you are a professional or an amateur, a digital shooter or a film lover, an outdoor enthusiastic or a studio photographer, you can enter the contest. You can submit as many photos as you want throughout the month. Take care to only submit a given photo once per any given contest month.Images will be judged on overall photographic and artistic quality.

Contest Prizes

• First Place winner receives $1,000
• Second Place winner receives $500
• Third Place winner receives a Free Short Course (valued up to $198)

Also, all contest entries will be eligible for placement on the cover of Photographer’s Edge Spring ’08 catalog. Every six months, one image will be selected to showcase in the Photographer’s Edge Spring catalog with a circulation of over 70,000 people in the US and Canada.
