Categories:
- Street Photography: Capturing the subjects in real situations, in public places, with the purpose of reproducing aspects of everyday life. The details of the environment that are particularly interesting, even without the presence of men.
- Landscape: the portraying of the natural landscape with a wide angle. Probably the most common genre among both amateur and professional photographers.
- People: Photos of single persons or groups of people, either posing or captured in their natural movements and expressions. Peculiar faces of other cultures shot during the photo feature on the occasion of an interesting journey or accidentally; depicting everyday life.
- Specific Nature: Unlike the Landscape category, which deals with the environment in general, this category focuses on a specific detail with the purpose of highlighting it (plants, animals, clouds, fog, waves, etc.).
- Food: The art of photographing food, properly matching the elements. The best combinations of lights and shadows, appealing dishes from an aesthetic point of view, going beyond the same image.
- Freestyle: Anything that does not fall within the previous categories can be included in the Freestyle category, from abstract to astrophotography, from sports to architecture, from artistic nude to macro, etc.
Photographers may participate in any of the 6 categories, even all of them or just one, with a total maximum of 20 Photos
Online submission of digital photographs via the website.
Image requirements: JPG (JPEG) file format, with sRGB colour profile, 72 dpi resolution, without compression of the image. The dimensions of photos must not exceed 1920 pixels and must not be less than 800 pixels (longer side, horizontal or vertical). The size of any one image must not exceed 2MB.
