• Copyright: Each grant applicant allows Getty Images the right to use portfolio images in connection with any and all Getty Images promotions and publicity, including the website and exhibitions of the Contour by Getty Images Portrait Prize program.
• Entry fee: Free
• Entry deadline: 5th August 2013
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers with less than five years experience in the field of portrait photography.

Prize:

• a grant of $10,000 USD, awarded to one photographer, with less than five years experience in the field, based on their existing portraiture work.
• The winning photographer’s work will be announced with a Getty Images press release, exhibited at the renowned Polka Galerie in Paris in October 2013 and displayed on the Getty Images grants website.

The winner will be announced in October.

Applicants must submit 10-20 images from their portrait work (either individual images or a series) along with a biography, brief explanation of their approach to portraiture, and description of what they would like to accomplish in their careers, (each in 1000 words or less).
