• Copyright: Artists retain full rights to their work. By submitting to The Kiernan Gallery, artists grant the use of selected images for the purpose of marketing the gallery and subsequent display on this website
• Entry fee: $25 for the first 5 images, and $5 for each additional image
• Entry deadline: 24th November 2012
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, worldwide.

From tribal drumming to radio DJs, advertising jingles to Italian opera, music is important to every culture. Even though it is more accessible than ever before, our thirst for rhythm and melody continues unabated. Use the visual medium of photography to illustrate the sounds that inspire you. Show your record collections, instruments, and portraits of musicians and fans. Show us stadium concerts, jam sessions, and street performers from distant nations. Most of all, show us what music means to you. 

Awards and exhibition:

• Up to 25 images will be selected for display in the main gallery, and up to an additional 35 to be included in the online gallery.
• A Juror’s Choice and Director’s Choice will also be announced and both winners will receive a free copy of the catalogue.

Submit digital images by email or mail on a CD. Artists should be prepared to ship or deliver their printed and framed work to the gallery if selected. You can submit up to 10 photos.

Image requirements: JPG format; 72 ppi; sRGB color profile; less than 1500 pixels on the longest side.
