Photocompete

• Copyright: Artists with work accepted for exhibition or for the web gallery grant the CPA non-exclusive rights to use their images to advertise the exhibition and related programs, for display on the CPA website, and for publication in the exhibition catalog.
• Entry fee: $40 for up to three images. Up to nine additional images, at an additional cost of $10 each.
• Entry deadline: 18th November 2011
• Who can enter: Open to all photographers, both amateur and professional, working in all still photographic media, worldwide.

The Center for Photographic Art is pleased to announce our latest Juried Exhibition, which opens January 14, 2012.

Prizes:

1. First place: $1,000
2. Second place: $500
3. Third place: $250

Winners announced December 6, 2011.

You may submit up to 12 images. Online submission. If your images are selected, framed prints must be provided.

Image requirements: JPG format saved as sRGB files, at 300 ppi, with the longer dimension of the image sized to 5 inches (1500 pixels). Set the compression so that files are less than 1 MB in size.
