
The competition has 3 themes, referred to as categories
- “People”
- “Places”
- “Climate Change”.
Prize:
Along with the chance to have their photos published, the global winners in each of the 3 categories will receive a trip for two people to any of 100 cities in the world where Metro is published! This trip will be up to the value of, in total, 2.000 Euros. This means a winner from Italy can go to Paris for 8 nights or to New York for 3 nights.

You can submit between 1 and 9 photos to take part (maximum 3 in each category). Your photos cannot exceed 5MB each. Your photos cannot be digitally manipulated by any software.

Winifred, it means that you cannot use Photoshop and similar programs to edit your images
Well, if you shoot jpeg the camera will do the processing but if you shoot raw, you have to do some post capture processing. I’m assuming they mean “no manipulation” but that’s pretty subjective.
