To celebrate 20 years of flying, SilkAir invites you to submit your best travel images taken from any one of SilkAir’s 31 destinations. You just need a keen eye and the spirit of an explorer. Of course you also need to have visited and taken a photo from at least one of SilkAir’s 31 destinations.

Prizes:

Grand Prize Winner

Canon Powershot G10 Camera (or its equivalent)

+ A pair of SilkAir Business Class tickets to Phuket. 3D/2N accommodation at Indigo Pearl Hotel, Phuket with airport transfer

+ A pair of Economy class tickets to Singapore on SilkAir or Singapore Airlines (for winner outside of Singapore)

+ 2D/1N stay for two at The Regent Singapore with airport transfer

1st Runner Up

A pair of SilkAir Economy class tickets to Penang.

+ 3D/2N accommodation at Parkroyal Penang with airport transfer

2nd Runner Up

A pair of SilkAir Economy class tickets to Langkawi.

For this photo competition there is just one category; we are simply looking for the best images taken from any one of SilkAir’s 31 Asian destinations. Only images taken from these 31 locations should be entered into the contest. Images taken in all other places will not be eligible. You should submit photos that evoke a sense of - I’d like to go there! Image content should depict only positive aspects of the location and inspire people to travel and explore.

STEP 3: Upload your images

Submissions must be RGB or Greyscale jpegs no larger than 800 pixels along the longest edge and a maximum file size of 1Mb each.Entrants may set their own DPI and image size but should bear in mind that the judges will view all images on a computer screen. If your image is shortlisted for final judging you will be notified and asked to upload a high resolution 300 dpi file. Your original image file should ideally be at least 10 Megapixel. Minimum of 6 Megapixels

Copyright: Copyright in all images submitted to the competition, including winning entries, will remain with the photographer.
Eligibility: Open to entrants of all skill levels.
Restrictions: Images can be entered from any of the 31 geographical regions listed on the web site (RULES).
Entry fee: 5 USD for entering 1 image; 10 USD for entering up to 3 images; 15 USD for entering up to 6 images.
Entry deadline: 24 December 2009
