FinishedThe Photography.Book.Now competition has three categories in which you can enter — Fine Art, Editorial and Commercial. Enter in one or all and submit as many books as you would like. The entry fee applies to each book submitted.

    The field of contemporary art is the arena to which many photographers now aspire. Whether your working methods are conceptual or stylistic, your aesthetic deadpan or modernist, or your artistic practice rooted in the world of performance, this is your chance to showcase your best photography in book form.
  • Editorial
    Photography can create compelling narratives, especially in book form. Whether it’s a long-term project, a photo-documentary, or a series of editorial spreads, this category celebrates the photography book as an experience that is more than just the sum of its parts.
  • Commercial
    Superb commercial photography goes beyond just a great product shot. Commercial photography books showcase distinct visual aesthetics in arresting brand imagery. From fashion to advertising photography, we invite you to showcase your most compelling commercial work in book form.

  • Grand Prize
    $25,000 to finish – or start – any project you want.
  • Category Winner
    Category winners will receive a portfolio review by the judge of their respective category.
  • First Runner-UP
    Three prizes will be presented – one for each of the competition’s three categories.
  • Second Runner-Up
    Three prizes will be presented – one for each of the competition’s three categories.
  • Honorable Mention
    Twenty-five submissions per category will be recognized for their high standards and amazing work. Honorable Mention winners will have their work showcased and recognized at Photography.Book.Now events worldwide.

Contest submissions must be photography books that are self-published either through the Blurb website or through another self-publishing facilitation service. Submissions may not be published by any third party publisher. The Submissions must be original works of authorship, entered by the author who holds all rights to the Submission.
