  3. Why would someone “pay” to enter a contest, and give complete ownership of their work as well? I have seen this trend develop over the past few years and I for one can not, and will not, support this type of contest.

  4. Pete, I am surprised as much as you are. I hope that my site helped you discover this trend by glancing at many various contests with their fee and copyright policies.

  5. I am disappointed that this contest requires the sole rights to the images submitted. I feel you will miss out on many fine professional images by having this requirement.

    If you look at it like this….
    Whilst you capture a good image; think!
    Take several.
    Even a milisecond apart it is a different image and not affected by this ’sole rights’ bullshit ;o)
