Here’s your chance to show off your photography muse. Submit your most creative image for Tamron’s 2008 Photo Contest - Wet & Wild! Photographing the Natural Wonder of Water. It’s hard to imagine a world without water, from the grand oceans to the quiet lakes, water is alive with plants, animals, sea life and more. It provides constant enjoyment for children through sprinklers, fountains and waterslides. Even endless, impulsive geysers provide Wet & Wild! amusement for us all.

This is the most ridiculous “contest” I have ever seen. The rules are very vague. After uploading FOUR photos…the webmaster of their site explained that you must have taken the shot using a TAMRON lens. I dont understand why a person already using TAMRON lenses would want another as a prize…
The person that put this contest together is an imbecile.
Thank you Jason for your opinion. It will be valuable for others who might want to enter. Actually this is what I wanted this blog to become - a place to discuss all these sometimes questionable competitions so that photographers know what to expect from a contest.
Thanks again for your feedback!
i find the rules too limiting! why US residents only? there are a lot of non-US residents who would like to join i suppose…can u not expand that rule to become more worldwide?
Unfortunately we are not organizers, please contact the organizers directly.
Why this submission is restricted to USresidentsonly
I really do not know why it is restricted to US residents only. Please contact the organizers regarding this.
